About Zephyr Climate

Zephyr Climate was founded on a simple belief: a premium system deserves a premium installation. The equipment we install comes from some of the best manufacturers in the world, and it only performs as designed when every stage of the installation is carried out with precision and care.

Most of what decides whether a system works well for fifteen years happens in the parts you never see: how the pipework is made off, how it is tested, how deep the vacuum is, how the refrigerant charge is set, and whether anyone writes any of it down. That is the part of the job we care about most, and it is where we never compromise.

How we work

Every job starts with a visit. We want to see the rooms, the walls, the loft, the route the pipework will take and where the outdoor unit can sit without bothering you or your neighbours. A detailed survey means the design is right for your property and the price you receive is the price you pay.

After the survey you get a written quote with clear options. If a cheaper option will do the job well, we will tell you. If something you have asked for will not work, we will tell you that too, and explain why. Our recommendations are always based on what will serve you best over the life of the system.

On the day, your home or premises is treated with respect. Dust sheets down, core drilling with dust extraction, and the place left clean. Pipework is planned to run out of sight wherever the building allows, and where it has to run outside it goes in trunking matched to your downpipes or window frames, fixed straight and level.

Every system is pressure tested with oxygen free nitrogen and evacuated to a deep vacuum before any refrigerant is released. Then it is commissioned, tested in operation and recorded. You get a written commissioning record at handover, along with your warranty details and a walk through of how to use the system.

Homes and businesses

Much of our work is in homes: bedrooms that are unbearable in summer, loft conversions, home offices and garden rooms, and whole houses on multi split systems. We also work on commercial projects, from salons, shops and schools to office fit outs with ducted units, branch boxes and VRF pipework at high level, and we work as a subcontractor for builders and M&E contractors who need a certified air conditioning team they can rely on.

We install systems from Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, Samsung, Clivet and Sinclair. We are not tied to any one brand, so the recommendation you get is based on your building and your budget, not on what is in the van.

Where we work

Zephyr Climate is based in the Reading area and works across West London and Berkshire, including Ealing, Chiswick, Richmond, Kingston, Hounslow, Reading, Windsor and Maidenhead, and anywhere inside the M25. For the right project we will travel further.

Where the business is going

Zephyr Climate is a young company, and we are building it on reputation one job at a time. The aim is simple: to be the installer people recommend to their friends, family and colleagues because the work was exceptional, the price was fair and we delivered exactly what we promised. Alongside domestic work, we are growing the commercial side of the business, from small office fit outs to larger VRF projects.

If that sounds like the kind of installer you want, we would be glad to come and look at your project.
